Having completed high school at Fort Richmond Collegiate in Winnipeg Grade XII (Cum Laude) Francis continued his education at the University of Manitoba graduating with his Bsc in 2006.

 

Following completion of his university degree a passion for Chinese cooking inspired Francis to return to Hong Kong where he underwent two years of professional training at Hong Kong's state of the art "Chinese Cuisine Training Institute" where he was the recipient of the "Rudy Choy" Educational Fund Award, "Chan Ton" Student of the Year Award and the Perfect Attendance Award.

 

In addition to his formal training Francis has acquired a broad range of experience in preparing many new and exciting culinary delights in a variety of restaurants in both Hong Kong and Winnipeg.
